To address the issue of a lack of training on generative AI for language educators, my research partners and I implemented a workshop for more than 400+ language educators teaching diverse languages worldwide to showcase the potential of generative AI in language education. Qualitative Research on Teacher's Perceptions of ChatGPT in Teaching and Learning Diverse Languages

Little is known about language teachers' perceptions of using ChatGPT in education, but it's crucial to be aware of their previous knowledge, attitudes, and notions to appropriately support their professional development in the utilization of AI, especially in the field of instruction of diverse languages.

Qualitative Research on the Developmental Pattern in Appraisal Repertoire of Korean EFL Learners

Appraisal Theory by Martin & White gives a comprehensive framework on the discourse semantic resources on appraisal language, which I have used to analyze the developmental pattern in written language of Korean EFL learners of different proficiency levels.
